Daily driver? Yeah, it'll be in good enough shape - The 5 Series (E28) Message Board

after the seats get releathered in red. There is a hole worn into the drivers seat side bolster, the rest doesn't look all that bad, just old. Matching the red on the back seats will be near impossible so I may redo both front and rear seats.

It's reliable and FUN and it already has about 200K miles so I'm not trying to save it. It's been well cared for by the last 3 owners and currently needs nothing mechanical, just upholstery..... and a new set of tires will be needed in about a month or 2.

You mentioned missing a nice black 535is, well I've been wanting THIS 535is for about 10 years! (I know 2 of the last 3 owners, and I missed it the last 2 times it was avaialable).....so patience does pay off!!
