Message: the upper control arm bolt and nut is 22mm on both sides, 19mm on the lower control arm for both sides. Of course you will need to use a tool to press out the ball joint from the steering knuckle.
Use the upgraded bushings or urethane bushings instead of the crappy stock ones.
You will need to preload the bushing if you do not use urethane, which will happen only on an alignment rack or if you drive the car on ramps so you can torque down the bolts and nuts while under the car while the suspension is in the correct geometry (rested on ground).
Urethane isnt really that harsh on the E28 for the control arms or sway bar bushings.
You can do this in 2 hours for a newbie with no experience. You will need to press in the bushings as well if they do not come with bushings already.
