| Message: | | If your drier failed it could have released dessicate into the system. The next stop for loose material is the expansion valve which has a very small opening and will likely clog with dessicate. You should remove the lines between the expansion valve and drier, flush them out, and reinstall with a new expansion valve. Be careful when replacing the evaporator so as not to press the heat-sink cage against the blower resistors so as to short circuit fan speed control which causes you to have to take everything back apart to fix. Also, the coil on the evaporator must also make good contact with whatever part of the evaporator it is supposed to connect to. Don't forget to put in new oil if you stick to R12.
