| Message: | Well there is Craigslist. And check with the seniorsix.org site. This is by far one of the best group of guys I have ever known. They are dedicated to keeping these cars runing. Plus a riot to hang out with. But you need to be realistic. the E3 is sort of the redheaded stepchild of BMWs. From that era the e-9 coups and 2002s are the ones people are willing to restore. The E-3s usually go for about a Grand. If its a auto trans with over 120K or needs work then even less. A well cared for running car may bring 3k. The one on Ebay that sold for 7k was a 1 owner low milage perfect car. I picked up a 72 with 212k miles and 70 K on the engine for $500. A FL car with AC and very little rust. Paint is faded and it needed a transmission because it was run with no fluid. I was given another 4 speed since everyone wants to do the 5 speed conversions. So its easy to find a nice running E-3 for a grand. I am not sure what you are asking. or the stats on your car. | ||||
