| Message: | Oil is rated by the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) to certain grade levels. It has been a long time since I have even looked at these desginations, as most every oil sold today meets SAE requirements and manufacturer's warranty requiremnets. The simple reason is that selling oil that is bad for your engine is a sure-fire way to a class action suit. Any major brand of oil should be fine for your car. We have yet to hear from the AmSoil faithful, though. In fact, I have not heard from them in ages. Where did they go off to? Did that oil testing deal work out for them? I must confess, I am an AmSoil heretic. | ||||
