Got a clunk when braking first time fwd or revrse (80 views) (240 thread views) 
Message: It sounds like the classic diff carrier bushing blow out since it clunks the first time I brake in reverse or first. Haven't had time to put the car on stands to go check it out.

Anything other ideas I should look for when I get time? Please don't bother to post about rear floor failures.
