| Message: | Sorry but I am feeling mean and I want to play devil's advocate for a second. All power to the little people, but I think harassing BMW here isn't the answer and may backfire. The power of this site should be used for getting BMWNA to repsond and help with ongoing problems we all have or will soon. The Nikasil issue is long since known about by anyone here and BMW already established a policy for fixing it. If you get a Nikasil car at a discount as a third or fourth owner from a non-BMW dealer and the car has more than 100Kmi, forget it. Anything they do then is a gift. PS. I would have crawled under and checked the engine block numbers. PPS. Did you ever tell BMWNA that you are planning to replace with an S62 in the near future? PPPS. What ever happened to the idea of the vehicle failing inspection. Where I live, a dealer cannot sell a car that doesn't pass inspection?
