rear shade for quarter window repair instructions. (2652 views) 
Message: (this problem has been discussed many times and lots of info is in the archives if you need more info)

The diagram below may help some...but you need a small thin flat head screwdriver. Slip the screwdriver in & press down on the top of the shade and you will see a metal clip (look in the circled area of the diagram) that secures the upper part of the shade. Manipulate that spring to release the upper part of the shade then pull outward & up.
