Help, new coolant leak on passenger side this morn (214 views) (995 thread views) 
Message: It’s always fun when after pulling off from a light and glancing in your rear view mirror to see how far away everyone is, you instead notice that you’re billowing clouds of white smoke. The last time this happened, my problem turned out to be a crack in my heater control valve. I haven’t been able to localize the problem this time. I took the engine cover off and could at least verify that it is not the heater control valve or any of the hoses in that area. Nor is it any of the three heater hoses that go to the heater core. It is on the left side of the car (as you stand over the hood) back in the rear by the firewall. It is definitely coolant.
I’m going to look at it again at lunch time. Does anyone have any idea what could be leaking over on the left side? I don’t have my ETK and TIS at work.
