Engine noise! NEED HELP! =( (68 views) (189 thread views) 
Message: I'm in the process of purchasing a 2000 740i sport from a used car dealer. The dealer says theres noise coming from the motor. He thinks its a pulley or tension but for some reason I think hes lying. I think its more serious but I have to look at it to get an idea. if it was the pulley or tension i'm thinking he would have fixed it to increase his sales. he's offering me a cheap price say about savings of $2k-3K. Hes about 2 hours away from me so should i go???? I need your opinion guys! I NEED YOUR HELP!
