| Message: | | Like you said, if it were an easy fix, the dealer would have fixed it. Plus, you have reason to suspect the dealer is lying. It could be a power steering pump, water pump, A/C compressor, or alternator. Any of those are easy to diagnose and repair for a lot less than $2K to $3K. Or, it could be a problem inside the engine. 4 hours is a long way to drive for a questionable car. It would have to be significantly discounted before I would do that much driving.
