| Message: | My son JUST answered the phone - on a Sunday no less! - and handed it to me. "Sir, this is blahblah from BlahBlah, and I'm calling about your mortgage problem." "Ok." "Sir, your account is past due by blahblah." "Alright." "Sir, do you have an explanation for why your account is past due?" "No." "When may we expect your account to be made current?" "That depends entirely on you." "Sir? I don't understand." "Well, I've already explained this to four other representatives, and I've written a letter to the president of your company, Mr. blahblah. I suggest you contact him directly if you want to know more about it." Long, LONG pause. Then, in a weak, confused voice: "Thank you sir, have a good day." I fully expect to next receive a notice that I've been placed in foreclosure. | ||||
