| Message: | Daughter is on the highschool cheer team. Last Friday was homecoming, and as part of a fundraiser we (parents) were asked to donate an item to the team as a raffle item (raffle tickets were sold before and during the game). We purchased eight races at Miramar Speed Circuit - one of those indoor race tracks with carts that do 40-50MPH. Total cost to us was ~ $250. The description as delivered was "You and three of your friends can run two races at Miramar Speed Circuit!" ... or something to that effect. When we arrived at the game Friday night, we were "surprised" to see that our raffle item had been modified as follows: "2 races at Miramar Speed Circuit for you and 2 of your friends with football players XXXX, YYYY, and ZZZZ." In other words, someone had decided to include three football players in with the group going to the races (ignore the fact that the numbers don't add up). This was done with no prior communication with us. Oh, and player ZZZZ is the son of the woman running this particular fundraiser, and XXXX and YYYY are his friends. I'm still in information-gathering mode. What say you? "yeah, bey's dumber than a box of rocks, but he's still sort of cute.
