| Message: | | Just for your info, and my misery, the tabs are on the bottom of the vent, and must be pushed up with 2 credit cards (thats what i used anyway, and i didnt incur a higher balance on the cards by using em for a change). got the info out of the TIS which i am finally learning to use. The vent is a [Oops!] to get out, and the cable that attaches to the little wheel in the center was almost impossible for me to put back on. I am a large man, with big meathooks that dont fit in small places. anyway, all done, and now my alpine nav unit is mounted above the left side of the vent, and it is much easier to see, and doesnt block my vision at all. It actually looks pretty cool. Naturally, i had to dremel parts of the vent, so the stuff would fit around it, and i called chris first to be sure it wasnt a high dollar part ($35) in case i demolished it. If anyone want pics of it, i can do that too.
