| Message: | I recently posted pics of the damage sustained to my car when a (ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!) Dreyer's Ice Cream delivery truck backed into it. One of the casualties was the driver's CELIS tailight (turns out the pictures I took don't really show the massive damage the light experienced). Anyway, being as 1) these are the Hella upgrade kit, and 2) I returned the BMW OE lights I'd originally purchased, and 3) Hella doesn't sell just one light, I called EvoSport to see if there was anything they might be able to do. I spoke with Tom and explained the situation: he immediately offered to see if they had any partial sets. Turns out they did: he called me back to tell me the price, we agreed on the deal and that was that. Unfortunately, I received further word from Tom this evening that while preparing the light for shipment, it was discovered it has slight lense damage, and could not be sold for new. I offered to purchase it AS-IS since the body shop needs something to fill the void, and Tom replied that instead of trying to make money on a substandard part, Evo would be willing to just give it to me for shipping costs. Once again, Evosport clearly knows the value of customer satisfaction, and is willing to put their money where their mouth is to prove it. I highly recommend you give them a shot before looking elsewhere! PS: Looks like I'm finally going to have to get off my lazy_ass and figure out what it takes to install OE CELIS lights in a pre-01 car. Anyone been-there-done-that, I'm all ears. | ||||
