E39 I6 vs V8 (4445 views) (34547 thread views) 
Message: I've been drooling over E39's for some time now. Torn between 530i and 540i. I would only consider a manual transmission car. I'd like the V8 but the fuel efficiency of the I6 is also appealing. Would some owners with experience with both models comment about how satisfying the 530i is to drive? Is there really enough juice for a car this heavy?
