replaced...That was the shop that told me about rear control arms missing rubber boots but otherwise fine and apparent still good condition of the swing arm ball joints - both to my surprise...After riding on new struts for a few weeks (and experiencing general lack of stability and side-to-side rocking movement on the highway) and especially after this morning's commute it seems that I do in fact still have a some sort of an additional problem that was overlooked by the shop...I was just trying to zero in on the culprit - as it was discussed in that other thread replacing suspension parts that have yet to fail can quickly get one expensive proposition...
