| Message: | involves removing the seat belt recepticale/tensioner and the outer side covers that hold all the switches. Thats why I recommended just swapping those, since the seats are otherwise identical. The wire harness can simply be rerouted under the seat as the opposite seat is done. If you still want to remove the covers and pads at this point, you have to undue a number of sharp hog pins. These are a pain in the [Oops!]. They hold the leather to the cushion and keep if from sliding around. You must take great care when reinstalling the leather to be sure its properly aligned at all points. These pins are thick gauge and are difficult to bend open and closed while trying to keep the leather in place and taught. I did the latter procedure on my driver's seat to replace the cushion while making some adjusments to the seat, fixing the clicking sound and cleaning it. I would have much rather jsut swapped the seats as I first mentioned since this is much easier and I did not even touch the passenger seat. Either way, good luck. | ||||
