But I've found that they don't last long - seem to shift position over the tape head after a while ... might depend on the weather conditions etc. With the best cassette adapter I had, I could only get about 2 - 3 hours of play in a day before the tape mechanism started to squeak (some of my journeys are over 4 hours!). In the mean time I will continue to use a cassette adapters, but I am getting ideas from your all comments on this forum ... I am leaning towards the for the CD changer input route, with the aux port wired into the center arm rest ... ... but I am still in search of that elusive wired aux solution for pre-2002 that can retain the CD function!? | ||||
