Message: My guess is that it would. Although primarily used when the AC is on, I bleieve it also comes on in instances where additional cooling is needed for the radiator.

Wierd that this came up. Just last night my Aux Fan crapped out. Well, not all the way, but has evidently had the bearing finally wear out and make such a racket you wouldnt beleive. Thought this might be an easy install and although not hard....I just have to remove the whole front end of the car to replace it. DOH!

At least I now have something worthwhile to do over the holiday.
