Thank you BMW for dramatically increasing the value of my low mileage E39 M5. So many people will prefer the old body style that the market for this used car should actually exceed the new car market -- probably the only market segment where this will hold true. I believe people who care about style as well as performance will simply hold on to their E39's until BMW comes out with a better design. The reality is that if you want manual transmissions to go with your 4-door speed wagon, M5 is the only option available. So BMW won't have to worry about a big market segment going to MB or Audi, but at the same time, it won't be adding many new owners of E60's. Hence the added value of the E39 M5's. Thanks.
