| Message: | | I had posted in late December that I was going to the auction to look at M5's. A friend who was going to take me had stated that I would be able to pick one up for about 28k. When I posted it someone had said they had never seen one go that cheap and they go every week to the auction. They had seen 31k as the low with high miles.
I was able to go on Friday and they had a 2000 go through and it sold for 29.5. The car had 51,000 miles on it and looked nice. I was simply shocked at what the cars were going for, it was crazy cheap! I am definetly going this route to get an M5, other 540's, 530's, and 528's were going for sick amounts, 15k - 18k. It would piss you off if you have ever bought a used car to see what they realy sell for. On Thursday's they hold the exotic auction and I am told there will be more M5's on that day.
I hope to be in the right M5 in a few weeks....I will post the details for sure.
