| Message: | | I am a dealer out of Miami, FL. The 2000 M5 the man is referncing was carbon black and it was UNIBODY e.g. FRAME DAMAGE. The car was run by BMW FS and BMW FS discloses all of this information. If you looked a the condition report, you woudl have seen in detail how [Oops!] up it was. Yes it might have looked nice from the outside. There's a huge misconception about how much used car dealers make. I primarily sell on ebay and autotrader. The prices of 00 M5's are dipping really low though and the market doesn't seem to know this. This is the case with some cars. The price at auction is nice and you can make some decent money on it. Also, the last post made about auciton cars in true. There's no way to say that all auciton cars are bad. There are so many variables involved. One variable missing is called aged inventory. A dealership could have a prime m5 fully loaded MINT on the lot. If the car doesnt sell after 90 days, they'll prob take it to auction.
