| Message: | Before U spend any money, try rebedding the pads according to the procedure provided by David Zeckhausen. Axxis Deluxe pads are known to leave pad deposits on the rotors, causing steering wheel shake during braking. Rebedding removes or redistributes the uneven deposits and let's U start again with a smooth surface. Depending on your driving habits, U may have to do this repeatedly with these pads. I get well over 100,000 miles a set on my E39. If rebedding doesn't fix the wheel shake, then check the suspension parts, as recommended by the others. The rotors are not warped. See attached link to article on this subject. Even if U suspect that they are actually warped, it is easy to measure rotor runout with a dial indicator before "throwing parts at it."
