Message: What was your car production month ? What do you mean by "bat for me with BMWNA/AG for a new engine" ? What was BMW AG first reaction ?

After hearing noises from my 2001/11 SMG2 car on this Monday, I brought it to the dealer on Thursday. They told me the engine is nearly "out", and must be replaced. An expert (from Zurich or Munich ?) should come to see the car on Tuesday or Wednesday for more details.
