pull the valve cover (ok, it's not really a valve (171 views) 
Message: cover, but that's what I call it) and check to see if your coils are gray or black. If gray, go to the dealer and have them read the codes. Limp mode is ALWAYS the result of an identifiable code...that's how the car knows to go into limpmode.
