| Message: | The entire side bar (including half of the car) is one frame - Nav bar. Each of the links opens a page in the other area - default being for "The Car". These pages themselves are frames and contain the other half of the car with the heading ("The Car", "Downloads" etc) as a lower frame and the main text area as the upper frame - default page for each. Links on this lower frame open other page in the main area. Kinda like a secondary navigation (horizontal in this case) I created the page in Photoshop as one image and used image ready to splice up the big picture. Kept the main images and the other blank areas are just cells with background color. The way to make it expand and contract would be by defining the "blank" space cell of size 100% (height / width / both). E.g. The black area is one table with height = 100 % width = fixed pixels (235 or something like that). Each of the nav images are a cell with height = height of the image. Same for the bottom cell which has an image of half the car. The cell for the center black area between the image for "Links" and the image for the car has a height of 100% and width the same as the other cells. Hope all this made some sense....kinda difficult to explain with words. easy to show... look at the source and let me know if you have more questions... email me at kartikchandar@hotmail.com '02 TiAGBlk | ||||
