lots of options for Elise's (120 views) 
Message: I recently joined Elisetalk.com too - saw the Secant article, but its pricey, $19k installed.

There are over 6 superchargers and several turbos for the Elise. To my knowledge, BWR is close to CARB and sector111 is also planning on it. However, Lotus is expected to sell a retrofit SC kit; after all, there is now an Elise SC model that lacks an intercooler. Cost and support are unclear but likely more than the ~$6k (installed) for the BWR or Kitana kits. Its also not clear whether the factory blower will support the wire-throttle-based 2005 units (2006+ are drive-by-wire).

The BWR has a stg2 kit planned too- with an intercooler (air-liquid i think). The cooler is integrated into the intake manifold. Other vendors offer side-mount air-air intercoolers (SC & turbos).
