Buying Out of State/PrePurchase Inspection/Service (65 views) (105 thread views) 
Message: I'm going to be buying a 07' 530i from CA, and since I can't go out there and personally looked at, I want to get an inspection done, I was looking at doing a Carchex inspection but I heard they don't actually do anything. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any reputable national inspection companies, or any BMW service centers in the Bay Area, CA that do prepurchase inspections and the price range on them, I called BMW of San Francisco but they acted like I was speaking an alien language.

Also, I was wondering how to get the service history and verify the warranty, I know I heard that you could call the BMW dealer with the VIN but I didn't know if that was true or not.

Any help/feedback/info would be greatly greatly appreciated.
