Extended Warranty Recommendations (402 views) (906 thread views) 
Message: I'm shopping for an '05/'06 645 and would like to find out if anybody has any suggestions or preferences with regard to 3rd party extended warranty providers. In my experience, the ones offered by the dealership are between 40 and 60% more expensive than third party companies, with the only potential benefit being that they guaranty OEM parts will be used. My main concern is avoiding catastrophic expense (tranny, major electronic failure, etc.).
