| Message: | | Thanks to Geez for being there for us once again! I wish you could work on my car:) It would seem to me that at some point BMW should take some of these problem cars and go through them with a fine toothed comb to try to identify what causes these issues so they can get that info out to the techs. In the longrun it would save them money because you wouldn't have people taking the car in multiple times having techs fix different symptoms of what seems to be some root problem that has yet to be clearly identified. I know these cars are complex, but I still have small glitches that never seem to happen when the car is in the shop(it's in there now)that in all likelyhood will be fixed at some point and since the car is under warranty, BMW is paying for it. BTW, I had the same thing happen to my car a 2 years ago and since they replaced the nav system it has been fine. But I do remember it happening after I plugged that motorola CPT8000 (was gooing to try to activate it) into the little interface thing and I haven't done that since, so it could be the phone module since it is my understanding that the 2003 models were to all have the 9000, correct me if I'm mistaken Geez!
