Message: Can anyone describe what happends to the vehicle once it shuts down for a periof of 3 days to 2 weeks.

I just replaced battery and it was expensive with the diagnostics @ the dealer. Purchased a battery tender and hook up when car not in use.

It seems to me even after driving the vehicle for 2 hours that battery is not fully charged and it does take about 8 hours before battery tender fully charges battery and then maintains a full charge. The tender charges @ a very slow rate.

It seems like these cars draw a lot of power while running and especially while shut down and parked in garage.
