| Message: | | I realize you said 80% city traffic which I equate to most likely a lot of stop and go, but I've read 335i owners report much better gas mileage than that in 50/50 hwy/city driving during the break-in period. Certainly, they could be sharing misleading numbers and yes, your 80% city driving is more than 50%, but it still makes me wonder how much better it'll really get after break-in and when the car sees more hwy miles.
I'm back and forth between the 335i and the 135i, so I'd be real interested to hear how the mpg improves after break-in and when you are more in the 50/50 hwy/city area. I really like the 135i, but since the power is somewhat lost on me since it won't be seeing a track, at least for some time, this might tilt me more in favor of the 335i which offers more room overall, especially where carrying four people is concerned.
