| Message: | | This afternoon, I reset my MPG when I got on the freeway. I drove 30 miles, at speeds between 75-80. When I got off the freeway, I had averaged 29.4 mpg. I drove another 5 miles to my friends house. My mileage had dropped to 24. I drove home at about 70 mph. My mpg was at 31.3.
I think the 335i's might be getting better mileage on the freeway because it has better drag coefficient. Per bmwusa.com, the 335 is 0.30 and the 135i is 0.33. I guess the 200 pounds difference is not overcoming the increased in drag coefficient of the 135i.
