Message: I had mine at the dealer a few weeks ago and they said BMW was aware of it but there was no fix. So I'm taking your advice and filed a complaint w/ NHTSA and hopefully they too will forward my information.
By the way has anyone had a problem w/ off throttle surging? When I'm coasting to a stop at say 20-40mph you can feel the engine surging and even see it on the tach. Looks like a heart beat: bump, bump, bump. Of course dealer couldn't replicate it.
