arrrrrrgggg, top no go down - BMW Z4 (E85) Message Forum

Finally get a nice sunny day, push the top down button, NOTHING. Kinda figures with the history of this car of mine.

Anyway, The fingers unlock from the roof from the top of the windshield, but it doesn't move past there (yes, the "rear deck" is in the down position. and all the fuses test ok). Before I climb into this, I know there's one motor in the top by the rear view mirror (this moves to unlock the top from the windshield), Does anyone know, does this motor also lower the top, or is there a second motor somewhere? And if so, where is it?
