Chinese Yuan Money Trees in New York City by emerg (139 views) 
Message: You may have noticed trees around NYC with Chinese dollar bills on them (called Yuan). These living sculptures named “Yuan Trees” are by New York based artist R. Lloyd Ming. Mr. Ming is bringing attention to 2 facts: China has replaced America as the main world superpower by allowing the Chinese people to pursue the American Dream. Secondly that the Chinese government keeps depressing the value of the Yuan because it encourages countries like America to manufacture there; however it ends up hurting America through lost American jobs and an unnecessarily higher trade deficit.
