refining margins(costs&profits)have more than doubled since beginning of year ..actually tripled for unbranded gasoline..upwards to $0.76/gal for CA..which has the "so-called" highest cost of production..which means that profits have gone up at least "7x's so far this year alone!!!(no increase in costs of production=BIGGGGGGER-PROFITS!!!).......at $0.25, the BIGOILBRATS were making at least a dime per gallon(actually much more as their accting is quite "creative" to begin with)..and NOW: more like $0.60+/gal!!!!!..They won't be happy until they're making a buck a gallon profit...we'll be paying about $7.50/gal by then(that day is rapidly arriving)....it'd be nice if more folks were less ignorant and less willing to despair..as it is, your notsowellthoughtout remarks are the kind of minimal analysis they are "counting" on..Z3 Cheers! dk '97 2.8 bg R(think about it...no increase in supply+production at capacity:record profits=Greater Profits!)
