| Message: | | ...Put about 90 miles on the scoot yesterday. Started running rough in Montevallo and the electrical accessories died 40 miles later in Alabaster. Got home, killed the engine, tried to crank it, got nada. Pulled the seat and noticed the battery cable was dangling. Fixed the electrical issue, looked around the engine compartment and found the other problem. The intake manifold(90° plastic elbow) was split thru a quarter of it's circumference. Glued the crack together with some E-6000, I'll reinforce it further with some Georgia chrome after breakfast. All the more reason to upgrade to a motorcycle, I have 4 bikes on my short list, waiting patiently for income tax season.
