The size makes sense as there is full tread as oppossed to the old tires, so they look bigger (OK, that's another Duh for this idiot). I just don't believe the speed rating. I really think that this was a bait and switch.
Perhaps my biggest issue is that the Michelin website does not have this tire as for the Z3 and lists it as a tire for a "luxury sedan". In any event, the dealer will not take them back so I might as well run them for a while and hope for the best. I'm probably just being a jerk who is needlessly obsessing about his car, not that such things ever happen around these parts.
The lesson learned is to not believe anyone, do your own research and have patience, even when it's 75 degrees and sunny out and your roadster has been in the garage all winter.
