To remove the console you will need to remove the shifter, and e-brake boots. Pop out all of the switches from behind, and disconnect them. Open the 2 access doors on the stereo and unscrew it from the frame using a 2.5mm Allen wrench. Make sure you have your radio pass# before you unplug the head unit. Unscrew 2 trim screws located on either side of the console, behind the seats, 2 screws under the useless storage tray behind the e-brake handle, 1 screw under the cup holder insert, 4 screws located on either side of the foot well area, and 2 screws behind the stereo. Lift up on the rear of the console while pulling down and back on the front. Getting the back half over the e-brake handle can be a[Oops!], but it can be done. Before standing back to take a look at your handy work, take a deep breath and relax, the mass of wires and vent parts may cause you to suffer a mild stroke. If it sounds like a difficult project, it's isn't. As long as you have all of the tools at hand, keep your screws and switches in order, and label the harness connectors, you shouldn't have any problems.
