| Message: | | How would I know this one way or the other for sure? The seller is a dealer, small lot, specializes in BMW's. This car was one of his customer's. It's not only a lot, it's also a BMW independent service center. It's been there for years; I've driven by it many, many times. I test drove the car and it was smooth, quiet, shifted extremely smoothly...I sure didn't perceive any problem driving it, no weird noises except for a loose heat shield rattle that I was assured they were aware of and would have fixed prior to pick up. Carfax is clean. Good acceleration, good braking, good cornering...I pushed it pretty hard and it performed flawlessly. What should I look for otherwise?
