Re: a/c switch button anyone? (146 views) 
Message: On my 98 z3 this is now the correct part (as per BMW Bulliten below) which will not heat up and crack. PN # 61 31 1 380 557
Sold on Ebay by Euro Depot as:
BMW e30 AC A/C Recirc Switch 9/86 on 318i 325i 325ix M3
I bought it as Ebay item # 370005979752 for $9.00

In case of customer complaint, replace the switch with
PART NUMBER 61 31 1 380 557

Warranty Information: Parts and labor are reimbursable under warranty
Defect Code: 64 11 63 14 00
Labor Operation: 61 31 085
Labor Allowance: 3 FRU
