| Message: | On my 1.9, among other things I had to take care of the following: 1) the radio GAL connection: if you have the Harman Kardon premium system you likely missing a wire that control the volume based on the car speed 2) radio backlight: there's a little resistor that is not soldered right and the backlight might not work properly. 3) rocking seats & sagging glovebox: it's more common among the 1.9 since it's a earlier model 4) apparently the camshaft sensor fails on a regular basis (my first one would need to changed) 5) cooling system is week on the 1.9 as well: the radiator was replaced by previous owner (is a Nissens)and I replaced both thermostat and water pump I don't wanna scary you in any way: mine was just a laundry list of things I did on mine and are somewhat common... Or at least that's my impression... --------------------------------- ZetaTre (formerly LPCapital) 1998 Z3 1.9 (my baby) 2003 Z4 2.5i (my babe's baby) | ||||
