Do this (56 views)
Message: If you haven’t already walked into the tire shop raising shizz with management on there poor customer comes first way of life...

Did you pay by credit card?

Do this because it worked for me a on the few occasions when I had issues resolving satisfaction and fairness issues with a shop and / or service (basicaly every few occasion worked).

Call your credit card company and tell them your story and the facts.

1.) They made invalid statements about tire availability (no Sport tires any more)
2.) Almost forced your decision on tire decision by their information
3.) There is a 30 day satisfaction guarantee
4.) They will not work with you
5.) YOU SPOKE TO MICHILEN AND GOT ALL THE FACTS

Then tell them to hold payment.

They hold payment and issue their own investigation that takes 10-20 days. (This is not a good thing for those who have the honor to sell on VISA or other)

Then go back and tell them you spoke to Michelin. You have facts. Tell them we can call Michelin together and they can tell you what they told me. Evrything they told me supports what I have said and belived from the beginning and you lied. AND BY THE WAY, I CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND PAYMENT IS ON HOLD UNTIL WE RESOLVE THIS MATTTER.

Depending upon how you handle things. Do not get rude and treat them with any less respect then they gave you.

THEY WILL MEET YOUR REQUEST.

They will change your tires to what you want, but yes you will and should have to pay the difference on the cost of the tires. Watch them do the tires becuase they may do things to you car that are not the best of decisions. Return again and again if the tires seem improperly balanced cause they may intentionally do that to cause bad wear.

Ask them if there is no difference in the tires, WHY DO THE SPORT TIRES COST SO MUCH DAMN MORE?

I have read the posts from the beginning and by all ways of the story and facts, you should have no issue with getting things right. But you need to show some balls and be a bit aggressive on your demands.

Also, this will not effect your credit score. You are willing to pay but you have some customer issues from the seller.

Hope you have better luck.
