New Fuel Filter Solves Stumbling (228 views) (912 thread views) 
Message: Just thought I post a quick note as an FYI:

My '99 Z3 2.3 w/97K miles was experiencing severe stumbling on initial take off and acceleration, especially below about 2500 RPM. I checked for codes with CarSoft and none were present. So before changing plugs, plug connectors, and VANOS seals (all things that I still plan to do), I decided to replace the fuel filter. Lo and behold with the new filter the car now runs perfect.

Just thought I'd throw this out there as a relatively cheap preventative maintenance and/or troubleshooting step.
