| Message: | That is very common problem: since the sensor is basically a magnet, I've noticed that metal shaving collects on tip and I think that's the cause of the fault. Just clean the sensor carefully with some electornic cleaner. It's a very simple task: the sensor is placed in the wheel hub: front sensor is part #7 here, while the rear sensor is part #11 here. You just need an hallen wrench to remove the bolt holding the sensor in place. It pulls straight out. If you follow the cable you'll see how it connects in a little bof on the wheel whell (front) or the [iirc] subframe (rear). Open the box and clean both sides of the connector with the electornic cleaner. --------------------------------- ![]() 1998 Z3 1.9 - few modifications here and there 1999 Z3 2.8 - individual edition (British Traditional) 2003 Z4 2.5i | ||||
