Lifting the car - The Z3 (E36/7) Message Board

You can search the archives for threads about jacking the car. The basic technique is to get four jack stands with flat top, put a 2x4 lengthwise between the jack pads, and jack up one side before putting two jack stands at the jack points and switching to the other side. Do this several times so there is never too much tilt.
