Yes "If so, where does it exit for access? Is it permanently hanging out of a crack or an orifice somewhere?" Wherever you like: possible places are the glovebox or the center consol compartment "And then when I use the iPod, I need to have a stick to push into the cassette deck each time? And the tab stays down once I push it?"
