I was told the same thing. (76 views) 
Message: Two years ago, I went to Best Buy, bought a new radio, went to their installation shop and was informed they would also have to replace all the wiring for $300. Returned the radio, crossed the street to Circuit City, bought the same radio and it was installed with no problem. Too bad CC went out of business.
